A splendidly executed and colored engraving (by Legrand) of Redouté's watercolor rendering of Campanula (Musschia) aurea, the Golden Bellflower endemic to Madeira, from E.P. Ventenat's Jardin de la Malmaison. A beautifully preserved exemplar of a work by one of the greatest botanical artists of the 18th and 19th centuries.
