Two small, highly decorative maps of Greek islands from Mallet's Description de L'Univers. The first is a beautifully designed and colored map of the Greek Dodecanese Island of Astypalaia. The second map focuses on Amorgos, the easternmost of the Greek Cyclades Islands, along with the Dodecanese islands of Kinaros (Zinara) and Levitha (Levita). Each of Mallet's Greek island maps features a title scroll and a dramatic scene of fighting ships.
