The first edition of J. Leopold Imbert's key Revolutionary War map of the British North American colonies. The highly detailed map encompasses eastern North America from the Atlantic seaboard to the Mississippi basin and James Bay to the Gulf of Mexico, and shows many cities, towns and native settlements. A large inset in the lower right quadrant features the Florida Peninsula, the Bahamas and the Greater Antilles islands of Cuba, Jamaica and Hispaniola.
