J.C. Harenburg's map of the Holy Land "divided into 12 tribes and extended by Kings David and Solomon," is both highly dramatic and scholarly (Harenburg, clearly had in-depth knowledge of the region). The title and an extensive historical note are enclosed within magnificent cartouches. The map encompasses the Nile Delta and parts of Syria and what is now Iraq. The island of Cyprus is prominently featured above the historical cartouche. Item Number: RS2674
