A beautifully preserved exemplar of Zatta's scarce and important map of "the new discoveries made in 1765, 1767, and 1769 in the South Seas." Centered on New Zealand, this landmark map shows the South Pacific routes of Wallis, Carteret, Byron and Mouats, and of course, Captain Cook, as well as the completed eastern coastline of New South Wales in Australia.
