One of two highly detailed and decorative maps of the Viceroyalty of Peru from the atlas of Prevost d'Exiles' Histoire Generale des Voyages. The Audience de Lima map encompasses northern Peru, including the seat of the Viceroyalty, Lima, and the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco (both highlighted in red) and is rich in place names and topographical details. The title cartouche at the lower left is large and ornate. The empty area on the right is labeled "land completely unknown." Item Number: RS2015
