A magnificent sheet from Volume Six of Chatelain's Atlas Historique containing 14 extensively captioned scenes, all derived from de Bry, depicting Indian life in pre-colonial Virginia—fishing, dress, dwellings, daily life, superstitions, and other customs. A decorative "frame" surrounds each beautifully detailed image. Except for minor staining along edges of bottom margin, this is a pristine exemplar.
