A delightful "vue d'optique" copy of Montanus' magnificent print of Havana harbor (G105). The very popular, but naively colored vues d'optiques were meant to be viewed in a special mirrored view box with a light source behind the print. The author of this particular print had a shaky command of English, as his translation of the French title indicates: "A View General of the City de Havanne of Amerique." Item Number: G104
