A fascinating, little-used (and therefore very well preserved), English-language guide to "The Dominion of Canada with Newfoundland and an excursion to Alaska." A rich source of information about late 19th-century Canada, the volume includes 10 highly detailed maps and 7 plans of major Canadian cities and tourist destinations. In addition to the Railway map mentioned below, the maps are the Environs of New York, Province of Quebec, the Saguenay River and Lake St. John, the Maritime Provinces, Provinces of Ontario, Lake Erie and Environs, Rocky Mountain Parks, Coast of British Columbia and Alaska, and a General Map of British North America.
