A classic map of the southeastern East Indies, from Timor to the southern tip of Mindanao, including Celebes Island, the Moluccas, and western New Guinea. Delicate coloring, a dramatically positioned compass rose, and an elegant title cartouche add to the appeal of this scarce map. Only 100 copies of the atlas in which it appeared (La Galerie Agréable du Monde) are said to have been printed. Item Number: 801
